Msasani is an administrative ward in the Kinondoni District of the Dar es Salaam Region of Tanzania. The ward has over 95,000 residents spread across five local government areas: Masaki, Oyster Bay, Makangira, Mikoroshoni and Bonde la Mpunga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ward is located north west of Dar es Salaam central business district, it covers the ocean side area from Selander Bridge to Morocco all the way to Mlalakua Bridge. The ward is geographically a peninsula; both the ward and the peninsula are named after the Msasani fishermen\u2019s village, which used to be the only settlement in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
